They didn't put a shovel in the ground or cut a ribbon with oversized scissors, but the collaborators working to put an inflatable sports dome at Loyalist College finalized a deal in ink on Friday.
President of Loyalist College Maureen Piercy, Mayor Neil Ellis, Belleville Youth Soccer Club (BYSC) president Taguen Christie and Ralph Farley, owner of Underair Inc. met to sign the agreement to put the sports dome in motion and, with that done, construction may begin as early as next week.
The location for the dome is on Loyalist property between the Pioneer building, Kente building and the residences.
