Loyola Blakefield is a Jesuit college preparatory school for boys in Towson, a community in Baltimore County, Maryland, in the United States.
The construction of Loyola High School began on Calvert Street in Baltimore City, Maryland in early 1852, and on September 15, 1852, the doors opened.
Between 1981 and 1988, a Middle School was gradually introduced, and in recognition of the two levels of education, Loyola High School officially became known as Loyola Blakefield.

A friend who works for the City of Montreal called us the second or third day of the ice storm and mentioned that a shelter for people without electricity and heat was being set up at Loyola High School.
Arriving at the school, I witnessed a dramatic transformation of the Gym from a place where sweaty teenagers exercised and dances were held, into a military camp.
Loyola was like a beacon in the darkness, literally, as the lights of the neighborhood failed, one by one.

A Montreal archaeologist is hoping the rare example of Indian rock art he rediscovered will encourage people in the region to share stories of other possible treasures.
The last time the rock face was seen was in a 1920 photograph, which was kept by a museum in New York State, but Scardera says the exact whereabouts of the rock were lost.
So the Loyola High School archeology teacher took that photo, along with aerial photos, and spent years trying to pinpoint the exact location of the art.

Montreal - Many of the top high school football players in Quebec will showcase their talents at the 18th annual Alouette Alumni Bowl at Concordia Stadium on Friday, April 30 at 7 p.m.

The competition was created by world-renowned inventor Dean Kamen as way to inspire youngster's interest and participation in science and technology.
