Lubin, who is white, says Eduardo Villavicencio, who is Latino, called Lubin "gringo" and relegated him to the female role in salsa sessions, according to the lawsuit filed against the academy's Board of Trustees in March in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham.
Lubin and his parents, who had paid more than $70,000 in tuition, according to the lawsuit, said they hope their experience will help warn other parents who plan to send their children to boarding schools.
