Lucien Laurin, born March 18, 1912 in Joliette, Quebec, Canada - died June 26, 2000 at Key Largo, Florida, was a French-Canadian jockey and Hall of Fame thoroughbred horse trainer.
In all, Lucien Laurin trained a total of 36 stakes winners and was inducted in the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1977 and enshrined in the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame the following year.
Laurin was living at his home in Key Largo, Florida when he passed away in 2000 from complications following surgery to repair a fractured hip.
