Lucy tuning - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
LucyTuning is a form of meantone temperament, derived from pi, in which the fifth is of size 600+300/π (= approximately 695.5) cents.
The LucyTuned perfect fifth is 0.0384 cents sharper than the fifth of 88 tone equal temperament, and a mere 0.01015 cents flatter than 3/10-comma meantone, and therefore is audibly indistinguishable from either as the just noticeable difference for pitch is five cents for single pitches.
Using LucyTuning is seems that simultaneously heard notes which are closer on the spiral of fourths and fifths sound more consonant than those which are separated by more steps along the spiral.

 LucyTuning, meantone, equal temperament
This is a brief comparison among three varieties of meantone temperament: "LucyTuning," 1/4 syntonic comma meantone, and 12-note equal temperament.
In LucyTuning, developed by Charles Lucy, the fifth is even narrower, to generate a large interval defined as 2^(1/(2*pi)), or about 190.99 cents, leaving a small interval of about 122.53 cents.
LucyTuning (major and minor thirds all narrow) gives an effect between those of 1/4 syntonic comma meantone (major thirds pure, minor thirds narrow) and 1/3 syntonic comma meantone (minor thirds pure, major thirds narrow).

LucyTuning is a tuning invented by John 'Longitude' Harrison in the 1700s and rediscovered and promoted currently by Charles Lucy.
LucyTuning has a "5th" or generator at the "low end" of the meantone spectrum, with an interval size between that of 1/3-comma meantone and Zarlino's 2/7-comma meantone (see the right side of the graph at the bottom of the meantone entry).
Below is a table and graph showing a 25-tone LucyTuning chain of 5ths, with all the intervals normally found in common-practice harmony labeled.

Therefore to LucyTune your sequence you may have to move notes to other channels, so that there is only ever one note per channel at any time.

LucyTuning is a musical microtuning system derived from Pi and the writings of John "Longitude" Harrison.
Beyond the scales, tunings and modes of Western music (Lydian, Ionian, Mixolydian, Dorian, Aeolian, Phrygian, or Locrian....), with LucyTuning, it is possible to emulate Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese, Indian, Arabic (makam) and any conceivable tuning system.
LucyTuned Lullabies (from around the world) demonstrate how the music sounds by using instrumental renditions of traditional melodies, and generates low frequency beating which encourages relaxation and sleep in babies and other humans of all ages.

But when some meantones, like LucyTuning, will require irrational exponents anyway in order to get a "spiral" happening for them, that implies to me that irrational exponents are just as meaningful as rational ones.
I'm stating that LucyTuning is not the same as 3/10-comma meantone.
So if your point is that LucyTuning and 3/10-comma meantone are "functionally identical", then I can simply lattice LucyTuning *as* 3/10-comma meantone and call it a day.
