It belongs to the Finno-Ugric languages, and is distinguished from standard Finnish by some important extensions to the phonology and the lack of influence from modern 19th and 20th century Finnish.
Ludic or Ludian is a Baltic Finnic language in the Uralic language family.
The Karelian language is very closely related to the Finnish language, and particularly by Finnish linguists seen as a dialect of Finnish, although the variety spoken in East Karelia is usually seen as a proper language.

Ludic (adjective) means literally 'playful', and refers to any philosophy where play is the prime purpose of life.
Ludic derives from the Latin and conotes anything that is "fun".
Confusion with luddite since both are anti-structure, anti-bureaucracy (but ludic is not necessarily anti-technology whereas luddite movements are).

Argot is the deliberately hermetic language of a small knowledge clique.
A small clique likely doesn't have enough people in it to successfully name its own inventions and practices, especially when those inventions and practices emerge from their lab and spread widely throughout a general population.
