Ludovic "Ludo" Bagman was a celebrated Beater for the Wimbourne Wasps c.
Ludo even admitted that his motives in joining what he thought was the fight against Voldemort weren't entirely pure, as Rookwood had dangled the prospect of a career at the Ministry after Ludo's Quidditch career came to an end.
Ludo's last-ditch effort to recoup was to place a large wager on the underdog in the Triwizard Tournament, Harry Potter, afterward concentrating on unethically using his position as a Triwizard judge to influence the outcome.
