Lumper was hired in September 1990 and fired in April 1999.
The company sent Lumper to work in another part of the plant that required repetitive motion involving the wrists, lifting with both hands and cutting with scissors.
Eventually, Lumper was told to go home until the company could find permanent placement for her, but it never did, according to the suit.

He said he had given no order for me to go into the dock door and that was entirely the scheme of the lumper.
It is very obvious that the lumper had full run of the facilities, even though the shipper admittedly knew this person had been problematic.
While I now see steps that I could have taken to avoid this, the lumper had this scam figured out to a “T” and one that the shipper even acknowledges to have occurred in the past.

Then again, by saying terrorism is a nebulous concept, ie hard to define you moron, I feel I didn't have to spend much time defining it.
That doesn't argue for or against the underlying policy, tho, which is a separate conversation.

I would generally classify myself as a lumper as I am certainly sceptical of the Redpoll and Carrion/Hooded crow examples that people have mentioned.
Whether you are a 'splitter' or a 'lumper' in any given situation should depend on a combination of whether the data in that particular case supports the split/lump, and which species concept you are more convinced by (phylogenetic being more split-friendly than biological).

Some of the issues revolved around "lumper's fees." When McGee and other drivers deliver their products they have a choice either to unload the truck for a minimal fee or pay a lumper anywhere from $40 to $300 to unload the truck.
Truckers feel the lumper's fee is unreasonable, claiming that the person receiving the delivery should be the one responsible for arranging the unloading of the vehicle.

There has been a perennial problem in regard to the "lumpers" and "splitters." There is a tendency for the taxonomists—the experts who classify plants and animals—to fall into one or the other of these two categories.
The lumpers place species together, which should be divided into sub-species.
"Lumper species," are also called "Linnaean species" because, back in the early 1700s, both Linnaeus and Ray pioneered the lumping of species.
