Next, the development of the technology requires a certain amount of time before the idea can be tested by the indiviual in her environment.
This, and the fact that technology has the ability to make things visible, makes technology a helpful tool when the user and those around her want to understand needs, wishes and dreams, provided the individual is always shown deep respect.
This means that the system consisting of the disabled person and her technology manages everything she would have been able to manage without technology and that she chooses exactly the same approach to problems which others around her handle without technological help.

For the last few years scientists at the Nanometer Consortium at Lund University have been able to make nanowires, tiny wires just a few millionths of a millimeter "thick" and made of semiconducting material of great potential in the electronics industry.
It remains to be seen what applications this new technology can lead to, but the physicists are talking about the possibility of varying the materials that make up the branches, which is also reported in the article in Nature Materials.
The scientists at the Nanometer Consortium at Lund University are working together with BTG, a leading patent and technology commercialization company, to develop and commercialize pioneering nanowire technology, a platform that is protected by a strong portfolio of patents.

These include political steering instruments for the development of technology and the market, how the wind power industry and the competition between various players is working and how wind power is dealt with in municipal planning.
Earlier inflexible steering of the development of technology and the market in the direction of large-scale wind power technology and a small number of players has hampered the development of technology and the market.
Analyses of the development of technology, costs, and players indicate a market that in all probability is in need of support from continuous, long-term, and well-combined steering instruments in the future.

News - Blekinge Institute of Technology
On 11th of February, you are welcome to Sharon Kao-Walter´s Ph.D. defense at the School of engineering at Blekinge Institute of Technology.
This thesis concerns mechanical and fracture properties of a thin aluminium foil and polymer laminate that is widely used as packaging material.
By comparing the crack tip driving force of the crack deflected into the interface with that of the crack penetrating into the polymer layer, it is shown how the path of the crack can be controlled by selecting a proper adhesion level of the interface for different material combinations of the laminate.
