		Hussein was wearing a Titan security badge at the time of his execution, and Titan confirmed he was working as a contractor posted to a U.S. Army unit in Baghdad.
		According to postings on the Internet that accompanied the videotaped executions, a group known as the al-Tawhid Lions captured Hussein Oct. 5 while he was on the road to Baghdad from the western city of Ramadi.
		Ansar al-Sunna accused Hussein of being a U.S. "spy," adding that he had admitted to participating in the questioning of jailed Iraqi rebels as well as assisting in U.S. raids of homes in Ramadi.

		A statement distributed Tuesday by Gene Ray, the chairman, president and CEO of San Diego-based Titan, said the company was informed that linguist Luqman Mohammed Kurdi Hussein was beheaded by the Ansar al-Sunnah Army.
		The San Diego Union-Tribune reported Hussein was a native of Dahuk, in the Kurdish region of Iraq.
		Hussein was hired earlier this year and was the first Titan worker to be beheaded by insurgents, Williams said.
