Whether in Wisconsin or elsewhere, the goal of a drug and alcohol rehab is to restore addicts to the life the had or hoped for before they became addicted.
Of concern in eastern and central Wisconsin are the availability, distribution, and abuse of powder and crack cocaine; the increasing availability of high-purity heroin; and the number of new users, particularly in the Milwaukee area.
According to a recent drug price survey in Wisconsin, most of the law enforcement agencies that responded indicated that club drugs were available in their jurisdictions, albeit at low levels.

Wisconsin, offically the Holy Wisconsinite Empire of Packerstan, is a Midwestern state best known for dairy, cows, dairy, cheese, beer, football and obsessive, hopeless, half-ghost romantics.
The only reason Wisconsin gets to be the dairy state is they put it on their license plates before anybody else thought of it, and if they were even a little honest about it they'd admit they're having second thoughts about it these days.
Sadly, this means that the beer import for Wisconsin has skyrocketed, because it is a well-known fact that Wisconsinites without their Miller (and their slab of cheese to go with it) have an inability to cheer on the Packers, and in Wisconsin, that's punishable by death.

Liberty Tree Foundation for the Democratic Revolution: Wisconsin "lets the people decide" on Iraq
Wisconsin voted "no" to the occupation, and as importantly, "no" to Bush's self-elevation from presider to decider.
In the long run, despite the success of the votes in Wisconsin and Vermont, it may be that they are less important as acts of popular rejection of the current war, than as vital preparations for a new era of democratic struggle within the United States.
In Wisconsin, peace activists are channeling their energies into a new series of initiatives and referenda for the November elections, including withdrawal votes in cities that haven’t yet had them, and also votes on impeachment.

 Wisconsin Towns Vote for Withdrawal
In November 2004, the village of Luxemburg, Wisconsin, voted to re-elect George W. Bush by a hefty margin of 701 to 431.
Luxemburg was not the only Wisconsin community that voted for Bush in 2000 and 2004 but voted against his war Tuesday.
The problem that the spin doctors are running into is that, while the Bring the Troops Home referendum won Madison by a thumping 68-to-32 margin, similar referendums won by a 70-to-30 margin in the well-to-do Milwaukee suburb of Shorewood and by a dramatic 82-to-18 margin in the community of Couderay in rural Sawyer County.
