Lydia Selina Dunn, Baroness Dunn of Hong Kong Island, DBE was the Senior Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council and Executive Council in Hong Kong in 1985-1992.
As one of the most senior politicians in Hong Kong, Baroness Dunn had considerable influence in the Government of Hong Kong before her retirement in 1992, after Chris Patten was made Governor.
She was created a Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in 1989, and raised to the peerage as Baroness Dunn, of Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong and of Knightsbridge in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, in 1990.
