Lynda joined the Supremes in late 1971, debuting on-stage as their lead singer at the prestigious H.I.C. Arena in Hawaii.
A native of Philadelphia PA., Lynda started singing at the age of four under the guidance of her father, Ira Tucker, lead singer of the legendary Dixie Hummingbirds gospel Quartet.
Lynda is featured on the cover of the Supremes 1972 "Floy Joy" album and can be heard on the Supremes classic "Bad Weather", a song written for The Supremes by Stevie Wonder and Lynda's brother, Ira Tucker Jr.

Although Jean was originally in the group and recorded with Lynda and Scherrie, and Cindy was in the group for a very short time the level of the Former Ladies of the Supremes was not what Jean and Cindy were used to.
I have a friend who was involved with the Return to Love Tour and overheard Diana Ross remark (referring to Lynda) "Who does that chick think she is...me!" As I said, I do not know her and she could be an absolute doll and the victim of gossip.
