For more alpine winter climbing Lyngen has several classic lines at approx 1000meters length in almost any part of the Lyngen Alps.
This includes ridges, faces, colouires, pillars etc. Some massifs that are well known are the Jægervasstindan and Store Lenangstind in the north-western part of Lyngen, and Jiehkkivàrre, Lakselvtindan, Gukkesgaisa/Langdalstind and Piggtind in the southwest.
As for accommodation, there are some public chalets 2-4km into some of the valleys in Lyngen (Kvalvikdalen, Fastdalen, Rottenvik), but these might prove impractical for you climbing various places each day.
