  The Finnish M27
The trial rifles of the m/27 series were marked with an "A" to denote the shape and contuor of the neck area of the chamber.
Another indication that the barrels were actually recontoured m/27 standard barrels is that the VKT made barrels of 1935 exhibit a different type of crown as those of the Tikkakoski barrels that were purposely ordered and built as short rifle length.
It was not until 1937 that a decision was made to fit the m/27 with a sight bracket on of the left rear side of the receiver.

 M27 - Dumbbell Nebula
M27 is the second largest planetary nebulae in the sky and is located in Vulpecula within the northern Milky Way.
M27 is an object with high surface brightness, so even small telescope yield pleasing views at moderate magnifications.
M27 looks best without filter, but under a bright moonlit sky you can work some kind of "magic trick": The Nebula won't be observable at all without filter to inexperienced observers, even experienced observers will only see it very dimly.

As for most planetary nebulae, the distance of M27 (and thus true dimension and intrinsic luminosity) is not very well known.
They were "stacked" and floating point averaged and dark subtracted in Megafix, then histogram optimized and digitally expanded (DDP), and exported to Photoshop 3.0 as a TIF file where it was resized and given a mild unsharp mask.

Here, we are looking at the "equator' of the nebula, whereas with M57 we look down through the "pole." If we could swing around 90 degrees to the left, M27 would appear much like the Ring Nebula.
Since the central star, the one that ejected all of this material, is much fainter than the nebula, we can conclude that this star emits most of its radiation in regions of the electromagnetic spectrum that are not visable to the eye.
The distance to M27 is not known with a high degree of accuracy and is generally accepted to be around 1200 light years.
