Vessels constructed included: a triple turreted monitor; a class of paddlewheel propelled monitors; a class of semi-submergible monitors, and a class of monitors armed with spar torpedos.
One of many monitor designs to be equipped with a ram, she was launched in 1865 at Birkenhead and attained fame serving the Peruvian Navy during the War of the Pacific under the command of Rear Admiral Miguel Grau.

M29 transported both of the subjects that were pushing the vehicle to Conway ER.
September 22, 2006 - Shortly after 2000hrs Conway Fire, M29 and Rescue2 were alerted for a reported vehicle accident with one trapped on Cates Bay Rd. Battalion22 drove Rescue2 and on arrival assisted with the extrication of a severely pinned patient after his overturned vehicle struck a tree with the roof.
