When it was finished as far as Bebington, the new Ellesmere Port Bypass towards Chester connected in and was numbered M531 with the intention it would be a spur of the M53 when the motorway was finished, even though for the time being it was a direct continuation of the M53.
When it became clear the M53 would never be built further, the M531 was absorbed into the mainline M53 which now joins the A55 as the Chester Ring Road.
The M53 is unique in starting on a road with a number that's actually a name - it begins at one of the Mersey Tunnels, whose road number is "(Tunnel)".

Its entire length is a dual carriageway primary route, with the exception of the point where it crosses the Britannia Bridge over the Menai Strait.
It runs west from its junction with the M53 motorway near Chester, where it is known as the Chester southerly bypass, crossing the River Dee, Wales and the Welsh border before passing close to Broughton then passing north of Buckley and Northop.
These restrictions are imposed as added safety precautions because the slip-roads in this stretch are unusually short because of the difficulty of fitting the road into a very narrow area of land.

this is NOT a motorway, this is a dual carriegeway
The first one cannot qualify as a motorway (avtomagistral/autostrada), top speed there is 90km/h and the second one quilify as avtomagistral thus it has a green sign and top speed of 130km/h.
And all I want to say by all this stuff is that the reality is as follows: there are some motorways around Moscow including it's freeway bypasses and suburb access highways but elswhere in Russia the roads are mostly as I posted in the two previous pics, this is the reality coth.

It seems that the M53 motorway, running the length of the Wirral, was originally designed to link Liverpool with North Wales, terminating at Ewloe.
Various delays and revisions meant the M53 ended at Ellesmere Port by 1972, and somehow never continued along the planned route.
If the M53 had continued to Ewloe, that would have intersected the A55, possibly inspiring the upgrade of that, the primary through-route linking Chester and Holyhead, to a motorway.
