		M58 is located at 12 37.7 right ascension and 11 49 declination.
		M58 is unnamed and has an NGC catalog number of NGC 4579.

	Messier Object 58
		M58 is one of the four barred spiral galaxies in Messier's catalog (the others are M91, M95, and M109), although it is sometimes classified as intermediate between normal and barred spirals (e.g., in R. Brent Tully's Nearby Galaxies Catalog).
		It is one of the brightest galaxies in the Virgo cluster.
		M58 is one of the earliest recognized spiral galaxies, and listed by Lord Rosse as one of 14 "spiral nebulae" discovered to 1850.

		M58 is a strongly barred galaxy and a bright member of the Virgo cluster with a similar mass to the Milky Way.
		M58 is known as an active galaxy with a Seyfert type nucleus.
		As is typical of Seyfert galaxies, M58 possesses a central jet phenomenon in its nucleus presumably due to a mass accreting central fl hole.

	CBRD - Bad Junctions - M6-M58
		This wasn't meant to be the terminus of the M58.
		Although the original plans to send the M58 motorway east were scrapped, a new A-road [A5225] will shortly be built which will be a bypass to eventually link this junction to the M61 at junction 5, however this road will simply link on to the eastern roundabout of the already "underpowered" interchange.
		I have done the route onto the M58 from the M6 from the south, and that is quite a shock in itself, but from the M6 north it's very cumbersome, and is made potentially lethal by the steepness of the slip roads.

		M58 junction 5, the main junction for the new town of Skelmersdale from Liverpool's northern radial motorway, the M58.
		There's a pair of loop ramps that get M58 traffic to and from the A577 in the wrong direction, there's the half-roundabout thing south of the M58, and there's the sliproad that's an unclassified road for most of its length.
		Traffic joining M58 eastbound (from the loop ramps as you call them) has to suddenly give way [there really is a Give Way sign and markings!], with only about 20 yards of slip road, to traffic exiting the M58 at motorway speeds.

		I'm particularly interested in the M56 and M58, as the 'M' is ATi's moniker for their notebook graphics.
		M58 = R520, M56 = RV530, M54 = RV515; the curious one there is M52 - why is this there and no desktop equivelent?
		I think what dave means is that M58= mobile version of R520 and M56= mobile version of RV530.

		ATi received PC-sig approval for the M58 several months ago so it's been on their minds for a while.
		For whatever reason, ATI is losing the performance/power consumption edge they used to have, and they're fortunate that Mobility X700 got as much OEM business as it did.
		R580 will have most of the advantages as R520 will, but considerably more shader horse power, so they will be able to clock this one down more and still get a decent range ofer performance.
