  Messier Object 95
M95 is a barred spiral of type SBb, or SB(r)ab according to de Vaucouleurs' classification, with nearly circular arms.
M95 is a member of the Leo I or M96 group, which also contains M96, M105 and a number of fainter galaxies.
Barred spiral galaxy M95 was one of the galaxies in the key project of the Hubble Space Telescope for the determination of the Hubble constant: the HST was employed to look for Cepheid variables and thereby determine this galaxy's distance.

The M95 is not the most accurate sniper rifle, nor is it the most damaging.
It does have the ability to shoot through cockpit glass, and that may be the reason that some damage numbers for the weapon show higher than the M24, but in actual practice it does the same damage to a player as the M24, requiring two hits to the torso to kill (or one head shot)
The M95 is a solid choice for MEC/PLA snipers as an unlock, as it gives them more damage per shot than the standard sniper rifle, and can be a good choice for the USMC player as well, if the need for shooting aircraft crew is important.

The M95 was manufactured in three configurations: The 50" infantry rifle; The 40 inch 7 lb 14 oz short rifle(Repetier Stutzen- stutzen means support in German) to be used by the signal, artillery, and engineers, with stacking hook, bayonet lug and the sling swivels on the bottom of the stock.
M95 carbines were issued to the Russian Navy as the standard arm, but I do not know if they were marked in any way.
All of the guns I have obtained are 40 inches overall (Stutzen length) with one or the other stock, indicating to me that the use for a cavalry carbine had dwindled to nothing with the advent of the mechanized army and the use for a bayonet on a short rifle for the infantry had increased.
