On 9th May, Meteor prime contractor MBDA conducted the first firing while the second took place on 20th June, completing the first two of a series of scheduled firings aimed at gathering data on the missile's performance and its characteristics during launch and free flight.
During the final test, conducted by a joint MBDA / ONERA team, a live propulsion system was fitted to the missile and the transition from the boost to sustain phase of operation was demonstrated in simulated free flight conditions.
MBDA is the prime contractor for the METEOR missile programme and has established the METEOR team with Saab Bofors Dynamics of Sweden and INMIZE of Spain as its partners.

MBDA has recently been contracted to provide SAMP/T with an evolved Block 1 version of the Aster 30 missile which, with its extended TBMD capability, will be capable of intercepting missiles of the 600km class.

MBDA Italia and Thales have signed a production contract for the seekers and proximity fuzes (both of which are under the prime contractorship of MBDA Italia) for the Aster 30 missile.
Following the signing, Fabrizio Giulianini Managing Director of MBDA Italia and Bruno Delacour, Thales Director Missile Electronics commented, "This contract is the result of a long and fruitful co-operation between French and Italian industry in the area of seeker technology".
SAMP/T is the land-based medium-range area defence system using the Aster 30 (120km range) missile for the French and Italian armies as well as the French air force.

I did a search of the Aster 15 engagement range vs missiles, but could not find a link which stated effective range vs missiles was limited to 15km.
Aster also provides protection against manned and unmanned aircraft to a range of 30km.

On 26th July 2005, the first qualification firing of the Franco-Italian Aster 30 SAMP/T ground-based, medium range air defence system took place at the Landais test range belonging to the French DGA’s (Délégation Générale pour l’Armement) CELM (Centre d’Essais de Lancement de Missiles) missile testing facility.
Beyond these objectives, Aster 30 made a direct hit on the target, which further demonstrates the extreme precision of this ammunition.
Today’s firing follows on from the recent Aster 30 munition test firing which took place earlier this year on 1st June.
