 Shuttle MMU
The MMU Manned Maneuvering Unit was designed for maneuvering by astronauts untethered from the shuttle.
The MMU was a one-man, nitrogen-propelled backpack that latched to the Shuttle EMU spacesuit's PLSS life support system.
