		In response to this trend, HK designed the MP7 to be powerful enough to penetrate body armor, but small enough to be used in place either a pistol or a submachine gun.
		The MP7 fires a specially-designed, armor-piercing 4.6x30mm round that travels nearly as fast as the 5.56 x 45mm NATO round used by many modern rifles.
		That said, the MP7 is slated to give the firepower of an assault rifle and the concealability of a large pistol.

		The MP7 is pretty compact also with the 40 round mag.
		MP7: significantly lighter and more compact when the butt and foregrip are folded away, so you can wear it in a holster - but the necessity to unfold things to stand any chance of hitting anything makes it slower to get into use.
		In conclusion, I would rate the MP7 as being more suitable when you really don't expect its users to have to use it much, as it's less trouble to carry, but the P90 as being better if they're likely to have to use it.

		Clausewitz RE:P90 vs. MP7 3/24/2005 5:58:38 AM All I know is that the german arrmy is very pleased with the MP 7 A1 submachine gun (called personal defence weapon) and the stopping power of its 4,6 X 30 calibre ammo.
		I am sure the MP7 must be nice to march with, being light and all, but its hardly something you want to rest your life on.
		I'm not sure about the MP7 but it seems just a bit too small to get good ballistics out of its bullets, but the P90 seems like a gun that rear echelon troops would be more effective with than an AR, given the low recoil, large magazine and reflex sight.

		Sure, it was great at longer range fights pre-patch because it had higher accuracy and higher damage, but in CQC it really got thumped because of its lack of ammo (weaker than a G36C with a clip the same size as the G3 = bad news).
		I was nervous about the change to the mp7 but now I love it all the same.
		The shotguns are better at CQC but the mp7 is a decent gun.

		I dislike the MP7, it looks goofy to me, this whole low bore SMG idea is really getting at me, 4.6mm, thats the size of a BB.

		I have sourced tonnes of MP7 stuff that no one in north america has been able to offer but the only place to get a MP7 hop up from is TM in tokyo.
		If such a small piece is so difficult to find, i would spend the $5 on a AEG hopup sleeve, and see what i can do to mod it into the MP7.
		Take this to the gun doctor's corner, and direct your question more towards people that already have the MP7 and have modded it themselves as several have done already and posted about it.

		But I would still use this gun as a primary, even tho my secondary is more powerfull, I think id rather have a Mp5k, next game ill use my friends MP7, and ill see how I perform.
		I heard that TM chronoed the gun with.12's, which explains the higher acruacy.
