MPR holds Adoption Events on a regular basis to allow the public to meet our dogs, talk to our volunteers about Pit Bull ownership, ask any question and spend individual time with a dog they might be interested to adopt.

In a fully televised procedure, the MPR voted to reject the speech by a vote of 355 to 322, with 9 abstentions and 4 spoiled ballots.
The MPR also adopted by acclamation the recommendations of the commission to amend 10 articles of the 1945 constitution with the effect of curtailing the power and prerogatives of the President and strengthening those of the Parliament (DPR).
Also new is the requirement that not only the President but also the other state bodies will have to account to the MPR (which will now meet annually instead of once every five years) for their execution of the policy guidelines.

While I applaud MPR's efforts to generate revenue using untraditional methods for public institutions, seeing overt commercialization like ads are alarming to some of us who get nervous when we hear that Wal-Mart is underwriting for NPR shows, and see PBS basically running ads for sponsors (while calling them something else).
Full-on ads on PBS for Budweiser and Kerr-McGee, many indicators of MPR's commercialization - standards have lowered for even trying to put forth the image that public institutions would/should not be influenced by underwriters/sponsors.
MPR now places Google ads, and that puts people's impression of MPR in a whole different category.
