		MTV was created in 1977, when Warner-Amex Cable (a joint venture between Warner Communications and American Express) launched the first two-way interactive cable TV system, Qube, in Columbus, Ohio.
		MTV executives countered by claiming that there were few—if any—promotional videos available from fl and other minority acts, although artists such as Diana Ross and The Jacksons had been making music videos before MTV existed.
		MTV received a heavy load of criticism from the religious right in the 1980's and parent-media watchdog groups over certain music videos had "graphic and sacrilegious imagery" of satanism and the devil.

		I was going to do a "best of" fashion post for the MTV Movie Awards, but other than Christina Aguilera (both her arrival and performance outfits rocked), the fashion was pretty hideous.

		Two reasons- one, I remember the show, as it was the last time I watched the MTV Movie Awards all the way through (in past years I've seen them in bits, getting dis-interested fast), and two, the Awards show had one segment that is thankfully available somewhere on the market today.
		And, oddly enough, it's a bonus feature on the M:I-2 DVD, which is enough for me to recommend the rental of the DVD just for the segment, if not for the actual film.
		While the Awards show is nothing particular to remember, the skit is a fitting tribute to the world renown actor(s) by way of hysterical satire.
