Maaya: (laughs) The song that probably most people know is that first song, the song from Escaflowne, so I thought maybe a lot of people would notice that I'd messed up and after the concert I was reflecting on that.
Maaya: This is my first performance abroad, I've only done concerts in Japan before and so the biggest thing was that I didn't know what to expect, I didn't know how the fans would react and I couldn't picture myself even on stage somewhere else, so that was the most difficult part of it all.
Maaya: When I first started working, I decided that I wouldn't miss any school for it, and so while other students at school had their club activities, whether it be sports or basketball or whatever, I would just be working instead.

Pacific Media Expo Forums - You must bring MAAYA SAKAMOTO here this year!!!

If Nami Tamaki could hit 3 conventions, within a week-long span last year, then it should be well in the realm of possibility to convince Maaya Sakamoto to take on 2 US conventions in one American swing.
People are registering and are going to be booking flights and hotels to one of these 2 conventions very soon, and PMX will lose out huge if it lets Anime Fest generate all the hype and publicity for themselves long before you do anything about it.
