MacRitchie, Upper Peirce and Upper Seletar reservoirs form the water catchment area in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve in Singapore.
We saw monitor lizards (one basking in the heat of the afternoon sun in the water), monkeys swinging on trees near the water edge, dragonflies, flying lizards, tortoises, fresh water fish, birds and lots of cool plants and trees.

Yup, it was really a new experience as i have never walked along the reservoir side before.
All the times i went to the Macritchie reservoir was because of school events such as Cross-country and half the time i was doing duty.Well, its been a long time since i stepped there and seriously, nothing much has changed.
Just try sprinting with some lousy friction shoes and u find yourself tumbling down the track.Besides all these, i also realised that Singaporeans are generally very free people, making the effort to come to Macritchie reservoir just to jog or run.

Anyway, I did my fastest run around the Bedok Reservoir which is 4.3 km at a timing of less than 20 mins.
Maybe there are alot of runners there and I am motivated to catch up one man to one man in front of me. And end up I ran faster than what I am targetting.
I did 21 mins 11 secs around the reservoir of a distance of 4.3 km.
