  Hong Kong Jockey Club - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC, 香港賽馬會) (formerly The Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club, 英皇御准香港賽馬會) is a non-profit organisation providing horse racing, sporting and betting entertainments in Hong Kong.
During the 2001/02 racing season, the HKJC licensed 1,144 horse owners, 24 trainers and 35 jockeys and had 1,435 horses in training.
Surpluses from its operation are allocated to the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust which serves as the administrator for the club's charitable donations.

Senior Racing officials from the Hong Kong Jockey Club and the Macau Jockey Clubs met this morning to establish a framework for the races soon to take place between horses from both racing jurisdictions.
Selection of runners shall be by the respective Jockey Clubs after entries have been received and both races will be run under the Rules of Racing of each Club.
Owners and Trainers will be able to use any Jockey to ride in each race subject to approval from the Licensing Committee of the respective Jockey Clubs.
