Entries for the Macmillan Writer’s Prize for Africa must be original and unpublished manuscripts written in English, solely by the entrant, the unaided work of the entrant, which must in no way violate any existing copyright.
Three prizes in all will be awarded by a panel of independent judges appointed by Macmillan to those entrants who, in the panel’s opinion decided by the majority vote of the judges, produced the best and most original work.
