		Macomb Township is a township of Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan.
		The Township of Macomb was officially approved by the Legislative Council on March 7, 1834.
		Macomb is an unincorporated community in the northwest part of the township at 42°42′03″N, 82°57′33″W on the Romeo Plank Road near the Middle Branch of the Clinton River.

		Macomb Township officials awarded a contract this week to a local company to tear down the house on Burning Tree Lane, near 21 Mile Road and North Avenue.
		Township officials will pay Walker Construction Inc. of Macomb Township $11,500 to tear down the structure, damaged by fire in June 2005.
		Last month, township officials granted the owner an additional 30 days before awarding a demolition contract after the owner told them he had secured financing and hired contractors to repair the home.
