Ottawa Restaurants - macs milk   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-21)
The first impression you have on entering Mac’s is how well the designers have integrated the décor with the lighting – the extensive use of neon furniture combines magnificently with the extremely high powered fluorescent lighting to produce a room that is … um … very bright.
If the Mac’s you are visiting is within a stone’s throw of a senior’s home these tables and chairs will be at a premium akin to the trendiest restaurant in New York - owing to this group of clients having copious amounts of free time and a strong desire for cheap coffee.
It can be suggested that Mac’s is undercutting itself on the food side and needs to take a page out of the trendiest Ottawa restaurants – where extensive and flamboyant descriptions of the food can always overcome the lack of any culinary substance.

Convenience store - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Prices in a convenience store are typically higher than at a supermarket, mass merchandise store, or auto supply store (with the exception of the goods such as milk, soda and fuel in which convenience stores traditionally do high volume and sometimes use as loss leaders).
In the United States, the stores will sometimes be the only stores and services near an interstate highway exit where drivers can buy any kind of food or drink for miles.
Convenience stores are similar but not identical to Australian milk bars.
