Muscat mintaqah (governorate), sometimes referred to as Masqat to differentiate it from the city, is one of the smaller divisions in north-east Oman, incorporating towns such as Seeb, Al-Qurum, Bawshar, Muttrah, Qarayyat and Madinat Qaboos.
Sultan Qaboos bin Said instituted land and social reforms, and though autocratic, ruled Oman with a liberal vision that saw the an overall improvement in educational standards of its citizenary, cultural and economic development and overall consolidation of the Sultanate.
Mina Qaboos or Mutrah, Muscat's main trading port is an important trading hub between the Persian Gulf, the Indian subcontinent and the far east with an annual volume of about 1.6 million tons.

The present ruler, Sultan Qaboos ibn Said, came to power in the early 1970s when he deposed his father, Sultan Said ibn Taimur, in a bloodless coup.
I was a frequent visitor to the old Sultan during the time of his exile in London until his death and he was a charming man, although he could be somewhat obtuse.
Madinat Qaboos was a development of modern homes between Muscat and the airport where many foreigners such as me, and some Omanis, lived.

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has issued an amended law to streamline the activities of private associations being run by expatriate communities in the Sultanate.
According to the latest figures made available to Gulf News yesterday by different embassies, Egyptians number about 45,000 to be the fourth largest community in the Sulnate of Oman, followed by Sri Lankans (35,000), Filipinos (20,000), Jordonians (15,000), Sudanese (9000) and Britons (7,000).

If you are talking about the Eamaar Real Estate Service in Madinat Qaboos, than no, they dont have the same logo, their logo is like a house shapped.
Unless you are talking about another emaar also residing in Madinat Qaboos having the sun rays logom than I dont know
