Madison County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas.
The county was formed on September 30, 1836 and named for James Madison, President of the United States.
In the county the population was spread out with 26.80% under the age of 18, 7.50% from 18 to 24, 27.00% from 25 to 44, 24.30% from 45 to 64, and 14.40% who were 65 years of age or older.
