	'Mafia' showcases Wylde's talent - The Daily Campus - Focus
		Though the album may have its flaws, the product is about as good as one could expect from one of the few bands still making an album every year.
		Though the album has a distinctly heavy feel, one should not make the mistake of considering it one-dimensional.
		Though such mellower numbers are in the minority on this album, their presence provides a sufficient change of pace.

		"Mafia" is the eighth BLS release in under six years, and while that does include a double-live album, the fact remains that this dude just isn't letting up.
		I didn't enjoy "Mafia", and it's obvious that Wylde's 1-2 records a year without too much space and time between the records is what hurts the quality of the music.
		I liked their earlier albums, but this one just put me to sleep, I think he's either losing his touch or putting out new albums TOO quickly.

		Zakk Wylde's Artemis Records debut, MAFIA, is not only his seventh album since founding Black Label Society in 1998, but part of a solo career that's a sideline to playing guitar for Ozzy Osbourne.
		This album rocked when I first listened to it, and now after hearing it a thousand times it still one of my goto CD's From the heavy to some of the soft, it has something for everyone.
		But when it comes down to Mafia, this is one of the worst put together albums I have.

		This is the album that got me hooked and made me go get all their CDs.
		It is, as always, produced by DJ Paul and Juicy J. This is an unbelievable album, "2-Way freak" has a crazy beat, which includes a ring of a 2-Way going off in the background.
		The Outro is similar to all other Three Six Mafia album Outros, where they promote other albums they have been working on and have come out on Hypnotise Camp Posse label.

		Lil' Kim launched from the Junior M.A.F.I.A. in 1996 with the aptly titled hit HARDCORE, using every bit of the sexuality she possessed in both her raw, tart rhymes and the provocative (and certainly unavoidable) marketing campaign surrounding her, becoming the first female hardcore rapper to go multi-platinum.
		I would say this album is the best offering of rap from a female artist in recent years.
		Album is pretty tight - MUCH better than Notorious K.I.M. There are some flaws, but most of them were not related to Kim's parts - Kim is on point - now if only she would put out albums more often.

		After listening to this album almost non-stop since the release date (7th March-8th in the U.S.A), i have drawn the conclusion, Zakk Wylde is God.
		The albums opening salvo is a little ditty called 'Fire it up' and is a rousing call to arms underpinned by a groovy talk-box riff.I think this is the finest track Black label have ever produced and is a great start to the album.

		The noticeable fall out within Junior Mafia is finally told on Kim's behalf as she washes her hands and looks to start over.
		While the more intimate efforts are of course the strong hold of the album, what would be a LiL Kim album without her usual bragging rights on the mic.

		Change the chorus to "You can't fuck with Queen Bee", and spit 3 verses of bullshit about how hard your life is with the constant haters and traitors trying to backstab you (probably cos they picked up this album, and couldn't get a refund).
		Apart from these cuts though, and the shock of Swizz Beats making a decent beat on 'This Is Who I Am', there's very little else here to pique the interest.

		On the other hand, this is not strictly a Three 6 Mafia album.
		The songs on this "soundtrack" vary from comedic dissertations to typically hardcore Southern bravado, from "Baby Mama" in the former sense to the Lord Infamous solo "O.V." in the latter.
		For riding and rolling "Choices - The Album" would be a great album to dip and hit switches to, but it's not going to be held up by future generations as an example of Southern rap rhyming at it's finest.
