	Magelang - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Magelang is the largest town in the Kedu Plain between Mount Merbabu and Mount Sumbing in Central Java, Indonesia.
		The city was a military town during the Dutch East Indies colonial era as well as in independent Indonesia, and has an important military academy.
		The town of Magelang is the capital of 1,130 sq km (436 square mile) Magelang regency, an agricultural area and one of the most densely populated regions on Java.
