		Drugs, Sex and Rock and Roll - but mainly drugs...The Magic Carpet Ride was an underground radio show that was conceived by General Manager, Bob Howard when Giant Music offered to buy sole sponsorship of the show.
		Hosted by Davy Jones (who was the station's Music Director at the time), it ran Friday nights at 11PM for one hour for 13 weeks during the Fall of 1968 and featured the latest avant-garde sounds in Rock and Roll along with poetry readings by his super laid back psychedelic sidekick, Bob Howard.
