  Magill - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Magill is an Irish politics and current affairs magazine originally founded by Vincent Browne and others in 1977.
Magill was widely perceived as groundbreaking, specialising in in-depth investigative articles and colourful reportage by journalists such as Eamonn McCann (who wrote its anonymous Wigmore column) and Gene Kerrigan.
Magill ceased publication for a period in the 1990s before returning in 1997.

The vats, built at the beginning of the 20th century by one of South Australia's best known coopers, J. Keuper of Nuriootpa, were in perfect condition and were transferred to the Nuriootpa cellars, in conformity with the Penfold policy of centralised handling.
The vineyard is one of the largest in Australia and its total 900 acres include 263 acres of old vines of the Cabernet, Doradilla, Mataro and Shiraz varieties, and a large area of new plantings of Grenache, Hermitage, Palamino, Pedro, Riesling, Shiraz, and Madeira varieties.
In 1948 the total area of full bearing wine grapes in the irrigation area was 3,775 acres, in addition to 500 acres of young plantings, and the value of the crop for that year was £213,000.

2001 marked the 50th Anniversary of Penfolds Grange, and as luck would have it, an invitation came to attend the Dinner to be held at Penfolds Magill Estate Restaurant in Magill, South Australia on November 26.
150 people from all around Australia were invited; a handful from the trade, a bigger handful from the press, Penfold-Hyland family members, and a number of old folks who had worked with Max Schubert in the early years.

In July 2002, a group of 20 people from our church drove to Amata, an Aboriginal community in the Pitjantjatjara lands, in northern South Australia.
We spent a week there helping to entertain the children in the community during their school holidays and then travelled back to Adelaide via Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Coober Pedy.
