		David Magness is the eldest of seven children, as follows: William, of Lead Hill; Parthena, deceased, was the wife of Peyton Keesee; Eliza, deceased, was the wife of Isaac Keesee; Annie, wife of Isaac Keesee; Patsey, deceased, was single, and Margaret F., deceased, was also single.
		Magness is a thoroughgoing and live business man, and all his enterprises meet with success.

		When the first three trumpeters showed up at the lake on the farm owned by Perry Linder of Heber Springs, speculation was a severe storm had forced the big birds well south of their wintering area.

		One of Arkansas' unique wildlife stories are these swans - big, stately, beautiful birds that spend the winter on one small oxbow lake in Cleburne County.
		Restoration projects have increased the numbers of swans in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan, and occasionally marked swans are in the winter group at Magness Lake.
		One of the adult swans at Magness Lake this winter is distinctive, wearing a green neck collar with gold lettering "61E" and with a radio transmitter affixed.

		One of Arkansas’ unique wildlife stories are these swans that are found nowhere else in this part of the country, although some indications are that trumpeters are wandering around more in recent years than previously.
		PINE BLUFF- The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Urban and Community Fisheries Program is partnering with Pine Bluff’s Parks and Recreation Department to bring seasonal trout fishing to that part of the state.
		Financial assistance from the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, local fishing clubs, and cities have given the AGFC the opportunity to award many of the young anglers that attend the clinics with some nice rods-n-reels and essential tackle needed to have a good day of fishing.
