Years go by,and I am afraid that more and more people will forget about HMCS MAGOG..I went to the town of Magog in 2004,and to the historic site of that town and nobody there,knew the story of HMCS MAGOG in the second world war and her sad fate against the nazis.
HMCS MAGOG lost 65 feet of her stern, three men were killed and three injured.

Most of the swimmers don't seem to mind, he added -- though Laurendeau believes the Magog race, which is sanctioned by the International Amateur Swimming Federation, or FINA, has had a special appeal because it spans two countries.

Ouisant Shanyo was the first pioneer to arrive in the north-east area of the Township of Bolton, and settled not far from Mont Orford in 1822.
We met together at the corner of chemin Milletta and North road where the Shonyo school use to be, and we discovered the granit stone used as a main entrance step.
