Kaw should really try his hand at a holy book of his own so he doesn?t have to worry about his post-retirement plans.
Kaw, Kumar and others of their ilk are in good company which includes secular India?s Prime Minister because even he was not averse to suggesting sometime ago - when attacks on Christians and their places of worship were escalating - that the entire issue of conversions needed to be nationally debated.
No matter what views the Kaws of this country hold about religions of the book, people who live by the word of their holy book - including the Sikhs - are known to die for their beliefs.

Kaw has also written in Hindi and some of his noted Hindi publications include Kehna aasan hai (poetry) and Aasmaan nahin girte (novel).

While no one knows how many Indian students are enrolled in international distance-education courses, the number of fliers, newspapers, and billboards advertising their programs is on the rise.
"The problem is that the student has no way of knowing if the ads or the tall claims are true," said Maharaj Krishen Kaw, India's secretary of education.
Kaw, who also is a member of the University Grants Commission, says the details of the new registration program will be ready in about six months.
