		However, the Samyukta Maharashtra movement opposed this, and insisted that Mumbai be declared the capital of Maharashtra.
		Electricity is provided by the BEST in the city, and by Reliance Energy and Mahavitaran (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd) in the suburbs.
