This year saw Maidenhead Rowing Club enter a record nine crews (6 Senior and 3 Junior) to compete over the famous 4 and a quarter mile championship course on the river Thames, from Chiswick Bridge to Putney Bridge.
Maidenhead’s junior athletes recorded a record number of wins at this year's Wallingford Long Distance Sculls held over a challenging 4000m up-stream course.
Maidenhead won 11 events which included the fastest boys J14 single sculler, boys J15 double sculls, a clean sweep on the girls sculling boats winning WJ14, WJ15, WJ16 and WJ18 singles and double sculls, plus the WJ14 coxed quad won and Bob Wilson (pictured) won Veteran H/I sculls for the over 75.
