		EMI Classics, on the lookout for new artists in the 'classical crossover' genre (an area where sales are increasing), has signed a worldwide five album deal with young Croatian pianist Maksim Mrvica (born 1975 at Sibenik on the Dalmatian coast), who studied in Zagreb, Budapest and Paris.
		EMI Classics reports that Mrvica's most recent concert in Croatia attracted an audience of which 75% were under thirty, and it seems to be this age range, with names like Vanessa Mae, Bond, Sky and Jean Michel Jarre, that the company is targeting.
		A CD single Flight of the Bumble Bee from Maksim Mrvica's début CD will be released in June 2003, and he is to play at London's Roundhouse on 14 May.
