Malcolm: keep in mind that $r->as_string may not be accurate, since it simply loops through all the header tables, including the outbound headers - if someone has put something in headers_out, even before the content has been sent, it will show up.

 CNN.com - EW review: Top-notch 'Oliver Twist' - Sep 23, 2005
Yet precisely because this is by Roman Polanski, it's irresistible to read his sorrowful and seemingly classical take, from a filmmaker known as much for the schisms in his personal history as for the lurches in his work, as something much more personal and poignant.
As in his previous movie, "The Pianist" (also written by Harwood), Polanski here considers the case of a person shaped (or is it misshaped?) by a fate over which he has no control.
The director, Malcolm D. Lee ("The Best Man"), immerses us in the eager daze that ruled the final moment before the dawn of hip-hop.

Lacking dialogue, and using major British singers who never actually performed on stage in Gilbert and Sullivan, the presentation, especially of the first two of the series to appear, was considered too sedate.
A great improvement was made when veteran singer George Baker was invited to participate in the remainder of the series.
