Basically Marvel look at all of its properties and realized that the Malibu line (and to a lesser degree 2099) was diluting the sales of their "real" line of comics.
Malibu was shut down in order to refocus on Marvel core titles.
That's probably my favorite of the Malibu comics, followed closely by Freex (it was the NYX or Runaways of the 90's).

In the comic book, there was also a freak lightning storm, but lots of people were struck by it, and Johnny Domino was only on the fringe of the storm.

Mindfire's first title is "The Armageddon Gang," a sci-fi adventure series in the vein of "The Dirty Dozen," in which a group of rugged heroes must solve an intergalactic mystery, fighting against deadly alien threats as well as themselves.
Information about Mindfire Comics will be available to both consumers and members of the trade at this year's San Diego Comic Con where Mindfire will be exhibiting throughout the four-day event.

Not to get all Tolkien on your ass, but the word “elven” is sooo D&D. And if this comic book were called Elvish, it might be about the crazy adventures of a magical female Elvis impersonator with a speech impediment, which would make for a better comic than Elven #1.
An offshoot of Prime, Malibu Comic’s flagship title, Elven is the story of Elvia (snicker), a young girl who has the ability to transform herself physically into Elven, a superhuman elf chick in a bikini.
The girl, who is the victim of domestic abuse, is a voracious reader of fantasy books and has created the elf avatar out of her subconscious.

He drew the Batman for six years (1987-93), penciling Detective Comics from 1987-1990, then moving to Batman to introduce the new Robin from 1990-1992, and finally starting a new Batman series for DC titled Shadow of the Bat from 1992-1993.
In 1996, Norm illustrated another short run on Shadow of the Bat for DC Comics, and penciled an Anarky mini-series for DC which lead to a regular series in 1998.

 Star Trek DS9 Comic
MIKE: The reason I was intrigued by the Deep Space Nine comic book is because I had written a number of other Star Trek comic books, and always liked the idea of taking what was unique to Star Trek and making it work in a comic book.
Malibu hopes that this unique style of comic book cover will attract potential readers, especially Star Trek fans who do not normally purchase comics.
Malibu is also releasing a limited edition version ($19.95) and a signed and numbered edition (price not yet set).
