		The name Malibu Stacey might evoke images of Lisa Simpson's Barbie-equivalent, but after hearing Invasion, the band's debut single, it will instead denote a damn fine punk rock band.
		Well, behind the Malibu wheel is none other than ex-Terrorvision bassist Leigh Marklew, who's swapped the pop-rock synonymous with the Bradford chart toppers for punky, loud, frantic, power metal clout.
		An FX wah-wah starts Invasion before all hell breaks loose, racing through the song in a torrent of drums and thrashing guitars, indicative of Green Day and the likes.

		Later moments of madness include almost getting to 3rd Base with a Lucozade bottle and coming pretty close to falling out an open window while singing out of it, all the while managing to avoid being OTT by a fieldmouse cock's width.
		Just as I'm starting to think that all the songs are a little similar, pace-wise, Malibu Stacey churn out Home, a chugging ballad-esque (or as close as you'll get with MS) rock song elevated to a level of camp only usually reached by the Darkness due to Johnny's ridiculous posturing.
