Maliha Lodhi is the current high commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom, and a former ambassador to the United States.
Lodhi obtained a Ph.D. in 1980 from the London School of Economics.
She then taught at LSE for five years, before returning to Pakistan to work in and then edit the English language newspaper The Muslim and later to become the founding editor of The News International.

Before becoming a diplomat, Lodhi was editor of "The News" from 1990 to 1993 and again from 1997 to 1999.

I am really sorry to hear about the attitude of pak high comission as they are supposed to help us pakistanis here.
I fully agree that we should go to the embassy all together and try to present our problem directly to Dr Maliha Lodhi (whom i dont know whether is a medical doctor herself or not) but we should try that there should be more co-operation and procedure to facillitate these matters on there part.
