The victim said Toledo first abused her sometime on October 2003 when she was a secondary student of the Malungon National High School.
Accompanied by her older brother, she sought the assistance of Malungon social workers in filing the rape charges.
The brother immediately informed the police led by Malungon police chief, Senior Inspector Ricardo Padernal, and the social workers who went to the suspect’s hideout in Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur, to arrest him.

Matutum's landscape areas.
