		The series was written by John Semper Jr and produced by the Marvel Films Animation.
		The series tells the story of a nineteen year old Peter Parker at his first year at Empire State University, and his alter-ego the Amazing Spider-Man. As the story begins Peter has already gained his powers, is single and a part-time photographer for the Daily Bugle.
		Over the course of the series the single Peter Parker contends with the romantic interests of Mary Jane Watson, Felicia Hardy and her alter ego, The Black Cat.

		In the game Mega Man X, Dr. Light writes that X is of a “new” series of robots that can “think, feel, and make their own decisions.” However, all of the robots in all Capcom games, even in the original series, can do all of this anyway.
		Mega Man would also never be able to acquire any weapons because he has to defeat (kill) the Robot Master in question first to get it, and he either wouldn’t be able to do that, or he’d only be able to do it once (after that the robot is dead and gone from the series).
		Having all of the robots in Mega Man’s age feel emotions and what-not, no matter what the explanation (living machine or otherwise) completely destroys the current premise of the X series—that is, that X is a new robot, unusual because he can think, feel, and make his own decisions.

		Very short lived, the series was one of a number of shows that failed seeking to capitalize on the success of a video game.
		This is another story, but when the series started to tank, or maybe before it had the chance, the networks lumped this show on with Rubik, The Amazing Cube in a half-hour block.
		Overall: It's easy to see why the series was so short-lived - I'm betting the novelty of watching Pac-Man eat matzo balls and biting the sheets off of the Ghosts became pretty boring after the 56th viewing.

		Concerning a man who had his identity erased by an unknown organization this show took the paranoia of the X-FILES one step further and made a show that is easy to get into.
		Unfortunately, the program only lasted for a single season but now those 25 episodes are available in a nine disc DVD set that lets fans sift through the program at their leisure looking for clues as to what's really going on.
		Holding out hope for a last minute reprieve, the series is open ended, and the final story asks more questions than it answers.

		This particular reviewer found the animated series to be something of a disappointment due to the forced attempts to "hip up" the character of Peter Parker and a number of absolutely terrible villains.
		The animation is also a mixed bag as well -- many of the computer generated sequences of Spider-Man web-swinging over New York City are terrific, while scenes with the character (and his college friends) out of costume are far less convincing.

		Trivia: During the middle of the 5th season of Spider-Man, Fox Kids was thinking about keeping the series on a little longer but then Marvel and Fox Kids decided to ended after 5 seasons and show a 2-hour series finale.
		The reason was the fact that Saban Entertainment wanted to Marvel's animation for their cartoon series.
		Throughout it's tenure I think this series must have shown us all the major villains such as Kraven the Hunter, Venom, Dr. Octopus etc. On a more exciting note there were guest stars throughout the series such as Blade the Vampire Hunter, the Punisher, Iron Man and the Fantastic Four.

		The show actually captured the true spirit of the comic books during the first 15 minutes or so during which the entire city is turned against him by Jameson and how worried MJ was over Peter but after that it went completely straight to hell.
		The show wa so crappy the last episode was a cliffhanger.
		Needless to say, this was one time when tailoring an entire cartoon just to sell merchandise didn't work.

		So this release does a decent job of duplicating the NES version of Pac-Man...but Pac-Man isn't famous for being an NES game, and this port of the arcade classic isn't terribly accurate or compelling.
		Technically, Pac-man has already made it onto a Game Boy Advance cartridge in Pac-man collection, and if you count Ms Pac Man in Namco museum.
		This makes it very difficult to justify a purchase, if the game is available for less, and it even has more games included.
