Manchester Metropolitan University is a university in Manchester, England.
It is the third largest university in Britain after the universities of London and Manchester, with over 21,000 full-time and 10,000 part-time students as of 2005, and hundreds of courses in over 70 subjects.
It became a University under the terms of the Further and Higher Education Act, 1992 under the new title of "Manchester Metropolitan University".

Trusts is taught at Manchester on 6 different courses and if the Iolis project succeeds in developing the workbooks to have a closer fit with the degree students then it could be expanded across the other courses.
