Mangalsutra is the most important ornament of a married woman, without which every other is incomplete.....
This is what I found: 1) The Tying of the Mangalsutra This ritual has the groom praying to the Gods to bless the sacred necklace, the Mangalsutra, and to give his bride a long and happy life.
This is a necklace presented by the groom to the bride, during the wedding ceremony a symbol of love and faith between them, always worn by the bride.
